Abstract

Key Words: Reinforcement Technique, Encouraging, Praising, and Helping, Vocabulary, Kindergarten Students. In modern era, study English is one of recommendation to communicate in International area. In English lesson consist of four elements skill that can be mastered like reading, listening, writing, and speaking. To be able to do it, requires for studying vocabulary as a first step to study English. There are two research problems in this research, first: how does the teacher applicate the encouraging, praising, and helping reinforcement technique on the vocabulary learning. Second: what are the strengths and the weaknesses in applicating the reinforcement technique of encouraging, p raising, and helping on the student’s vocabulary. The researcher uses descriptive qualitative research to conduct the research with three technique of data collection: observation, interview, and documentation. The researcher observes the data then the researcher displays or explains the data based on research problems. After that the researcher continued with checking the data to get the result of data. This research is conducted to describe how does the teacher applicate the encouraging, praising, and helping reinforcement technique on the vocabulary learning and what are the strengths and the weaknesses in applicating the reinforcement technique of encouraging, praising, and helping on the students vocabulary. Based on the result of research, the researcher concludes that the application of encouraging, praising, and helping reinforcement technique on the vocabulary learning in Kindergarten PGRI Talang Sari Guluk-Guluk is a proper technique that applied by teacher and suitable to student’s condition in Kindergarten PGRI Talang Sari because encouraging, praising, and helping reinforcement technique to students will easier in study vocabulary.
