Abstract

Keywords:Mobile Legend game, Vocabulary Mastery Game as one of media entertainment has a positive effect on language learning. Especially for Vocabulary Mastery. In learning vocabulary, it will be more interesting with suitable technique one of them using game. The game that will apply in this research is Mobile Legend Game. In this study, there are two objectives of study, for the first is to know whether or not there is the effect of mobile legend game toward students’ vocabulary mastery and to know how mobile legend game causes the Vocabulary mastery of Death note group in pamekasan. The research method of this study is using quantitative approach while the design of this research is quasy-Experimental design. There are two variables in this research. Mobile legend game is independent variable (X) and Vocabulary Mastery is dependent variable (Y). The population is all of the members the death note group is 14. The sample is the member death note group which consists of 14. For the instrument the researcher used test and documentation. The result of the data analysis and hypothesis testing which has been conducted, the researcher concludes that there is the effect of of Mobile legend game towards students’ vocabulary mastery in Pamekasan. It is proved from the result of data analysis by consulting and t-table that is 7.93 and t-table is 0.532. So, the result is that null hypothesis is rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted because > t-table (7.93>0.532). So the effect of Mobile legend game has strong significance for member of death note group. Based on the result above, The researcher suggested for english teacher to have some specific technique in delivering the material in English learning process. Game is one of the options in order to make students more comfortable during the English learning process. For the next researcher, they can use another approach to make explanation more deeply.
