This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, namely library research, with the type of content analysis. In this study, there are two types of data sources in this study, the first: primary sources, namely data taken from 3 mahsar's poems as core data. Then the second: secondary data, namely, the analysis of the figurative language of hyperbole and allegory contained in the 3 mahsar's poems. The data and findings are based on books, theories, and other resident sources. Meanwhile, checking the validity of the data itself is carried out by means of triangulation. The results of this study indicate that, in the 3 mahsar's poems there are 8 uses of hyperbole figurative language and 4 allegorical figurative language. Where 2 figurative languages of hyperbole are found in the mahsar’s poem entitled Twilight in the Nail Gardens, 3 figurative languages of hyperbole are found in the poem entitledBeauty Veil, and 3 figurative languages of hyperbole are also found in the poem entitled Haming. Then allegorical figurative language is also found in 2 mahsar's poems, namely, 3 allegorical figurative language is found in mahsar's poem entitled Twilight in the Nail Gardens, and 1 allegorical figurative language is found in mahsar's poem entitled Haming. Based on the findings and explanations above, we can see together how important the role of figurative language in beautifying a poem is, so that readers and listeners feel interested and happy when reading or listening to poetry.
