Abstract
Information Technology is a technology that includes all technical equipment for processing and delivering information . information technology includes all matters relating to the process, use as a tool, manipulation, and information processing. Media is eveything that can distribute information from information sources to recipients information. And also media is a tool that using in teaching learning process that support the teacher to give explanation to the students toward students interesting and make the students easy to understand the material. There are two research focus in this study: first, what kind of IT teaching media that used by the lecturer of English department subject. Second, how do IT teaching media facilitate the lecturer in teaching the subject in English department students. This is a qualitative research, the researcher collected the data from observation, interviews, and documentation. From the data are collected, the researcher can know what kind of IT teaching media that used by the lecturer of English department subject. And also to know how IT teaching media facilitate the lecturer in teaching the subject in English department students. The result of this research showed that there are three kinds of IT teaching media used by the lecturer of English department students. The first one is Laptop, the teacher used laptop in teaching learning process in order to the students can more understand the material. The second one is Edmodo, the teacher used edmodo application because it make easier to gives some the material like, audio, video, document, or PPT. The last one is Google classroom, the teacher used google classroom because it more easier to gives some the material, some information, or question, and also it make easier for the students because the students can more faster to received the material although not in the class. Based on the result of the research above, the researcher concludes that kinds of IT teaching media used by the lecturer is very helpful for the teacher because can make the students easier to understand the material and not need to write if the teacher used power point, and also if the teacher used application it make the students more faster to received the material. And also easier for the students if the teacher not entering the class so the teacher give information from the application. And gives some question in the application. Teknologi Informasi adalah teknologi yang mencakup semua peralatan teknis untuk memproses dan mengirimkan informasi. teknologi informasi mencakup semua hal yang berkaitan dengan proses, digunakan sebagai alat, manipulasi, dan pemrosesan informasi. Media adalah segala sesuatu yang dapat mendistribusikan informasi dari sumber informasi kepada penerima informasi. Dan juga media adalah alat yang digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar yang mendukung guru untuk memberikan penjelasan terhadap siswa yang menarik dan membuat siswa mudah memahami materi. Ada dua fokus penelitian dalam penelitian ini: pertama, apa macam-macam IT media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh dosen jurusan Bahasa Inggris. Kedua, bagaimana IT media pembelajaran memfasilitasi dosen dalam mengajar subjek pada mahasiswa jurusan bahasa Inggris. Ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, peneliti mengumpulkan data dari observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dari data yang dikumpulkan, peneliti dapat mengetahui macam-macam IT media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh dosen jurusan Bahasa Inggris. Dan juga untuk mengetahui bagaimana IT media pembelajaran memfasilitasi dosen dalam mengajar subjek pada mahasiswa jurusan bahasa Inggris. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada tiga macam-macam IT media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh dosen mahasiswa jurusan bahasa Inggris. Yang pertama adalah Laptop, guru menggunakan laptop dalam proses belajar mengajar agar siswa dapat lebih memahami materi. Yang kedua adalah Edmodo, guru menggunakan aplikasi edmodo karena lebih mudah untuk memberikan beberapa materi seperti, audio, video, dokumen, atau PPT. Yang terakhir adalah Google classroom, guru menggunakan google classroom karena lebih mudah untuk memberikan beberapa materi, beberapa informasi, atau pertanyaan, dan juga membuat lebih mudah bagi siswa karena siswa dapat lebih cepat menerima materi meskipun tidak masuk di kelas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa macammacam IT media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh dosen sangat membantu bagi guru karena dapat membuat siswa lebih mudah memahami materi dan tidak perlu menulis jika guru menggunakan power point, dan juga jika guru menggunakan aplikasi itu membuat siswa lebih cepat menerima materi. Dan juga lebih mudah bagi siswa jika guru tidak memasuki kelas sehingga guru memberikan informasi dari aplikasi tersebut. Dan memberikan beberapa pertanyaan dalam aplikasi tersebut.
