Abstract
Kata Kunci : Metaphor, Hidden Meaning, I Love You 3000 Metaphor is the style of language that is most often used. Metaphor has the meaning of a linguistic expression which cannot be interpreted directly from the symbol used, but from production which can be used both by the symbol and from the meaning intended by the language expression. The metaphor that this researcher did was on the lyrics of the song I Love You 3000 by Stephanie Poetri. Based on this, there are two research focuses that researchers do. First, What types of metaphors are used in "I LOVE YOU-3000" Lyrics by Stephanie Poetri? Second, What hidden meaning is reflected in metaphors in "I LOVE YOU -3000" Lyrics by Stephanie Poetri in Lakoff and Jhonson Perspective? This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of literature. The data source of this research is the lyrics of the song I Love You 3000 by Stephanie Poetri. The data was obtained by collecting documentation in the form of song lyrics obtained from the internet that have been printed. The results of the study showed that 1. The use of metaphors in the lyrics of the song I Love You 3000 from Stephanie Poetri was found as much as 12 data including: types of structural metaphors with a total data of 4 lyrics, namely: Baby take my hand I want you to be my husband, I can see you in you're eyes just take me by surprise, You planing to get on one knee, Now we're having dinner and baby you are my winner. There are 2 lyrics of Orientational Metaphor type data, namely: Cause you my Ironman and I Love you 3000, I see you standing there in your hulk outerwear. There are 6 lyrics of Ontological Metaphor type data, 3 ontological container type data and 3 ontological personification type data. The 3 lyrics of Ontological container type data are: Baby take a chance cause I want this to be something, and all I can think is where is the ring, so make sure I have no clue when you ask. 3 lyrics of Ontological Personification type are: Straigth out of a hollywood movie, I see the way you smile you are thinking abaout the aisle, and before you could ask I answer too fast.
