Abstract
Keyword: English Textbook, Religious Moderation. This thesis discusses The Analysis of English Textbook in MAN 1 Pamekasan Based on Religious Moderation Perspective. This study aim to investigate the principles of religious moderation perspective reflected in English textbook of MAN 1 Pamekasan and to find out the indicators of religious moderation perspective reflected in English textbook of MAN 1 Pamekasan. In this study, the researcher used qualitative as the research approach with library research. Designed the kind of research used was content analysis. The data sources of this research was the tenth grade English textbook at MAN 1 Pamekasan. In collecting data, the researcher used two procedures, namely indirect observation and documentation. After conducting the research, the researcher found that the principes of religious moderation that containing on ten grade English UKBM (Unit Kegiatan Belajar Mandiri) at MAN 1 Pamekasan, there are all of principles but it is just one or two principle of several text of eight text material. The researcher also found that the indicators of religious moderation that containing on ten grade English UKBM at MAN 1 Pamekasan just two point of four point that containing on eight text material,there are tolerance and accommodating to the local culture. This proves that MAN 1 Pamekasan which educational institutions under the auspices of the ministry of religion have not fully implemented the principles and indicators of religious moderation on tenth grade English textbook
