Abstract
Keywords: influence of internet media on students Internet is a global network of interconnected computers that support users internet exchange information / data through the network. The internet is recourse for student that contains material or subject matter and other source of information that can be accessed by students both individually and in groups. It is the strategy of the teacher to make the student easier in teaching learning process, especially in vocabulary mastery. Based on this research, there are two problem that become the main study of this study. First, the student’s vocabulary mastery at SMP 1 Atap Blumbungan after using internet media in teaching learning process have better or not. Second, a statistically significant different about the vocabulary mastery of student at SMP 1 Atap Blumbungan after using internet media in teaching learning Process. This research used quantitative approach with an experimental design, namely one group pre-test post-test. Sources of data were obtained through pretest and post-test whose samples were students of first grade at SMP 1 Atap Blumbungan. To checking validity of the data used content validity, and for data reliability used Spearman Brown. The result of this research indicated that first, there is influence of the first grade student at SMP 1 Atap Blumbungan after using internet media on vocabulary mastery. It can be seen from the result of student work that having better than before. Second, by using internet media there is a significant influence on student’s vocabulary mastery. It can be conclude that there is influence of internet media utilization on vocabulary mastery at SMP 1 Atap Blumbungan.
