Abstract

Keyword: Islamic educational value, Movie, Omar. education is defined as a process of changing the attitudes and behavior of a person or group of people to mature humans through teaching or learning effort. There are two focuses of this research, the first to describe the characters perform Islamic Educational Values in the Omar movie and the second to find out the kind of Islamic educational values are found in the Omar Movie. In this research, the researcher uses descriptive analysis method in library research though a subjective and psychological approach to literature. the technique used to collect the data consist of some procedures they are documentation and observation.The ways of collecting data Observation Omar movie. Identify the dialogue (expression) in the film that contains education value.The data dealing with the purpose of the study. Data analysis is used to answer research problem or examine the hypothesis itself. The researcher combines two ways to answer the research focuss, namely descriptive analysis and content analysis. After analyzing the data that was taken from the Omar movie The researcher found character Abu Bakar perform imaniyah value by conveying islami syari’ah and Salim’s family do congregational prayer at their house. Abu bakar does Athifiyah value by saying that he is afraid that a lot of wealth can make him forget to Allah. Umar bin Khattab performs Khuluqiyah value by letting a group of traveler to fetch water for their camels. Umar bin Khattab performs Jasadiyah value by hard work for making his body stronger. Umar bin Khattab performs Fikriyah Value by sayng to his brother that animal need of proper care. Wahsyi performs jisniyah value by saying to Hindun that he doesn’t want to get sympathy except from his mother. Then the researcher found 6 Islamic educational values can perform in this movie, such as how one of the characters in the movie talks, does something, and does an activity. and most charater educational values can be found in this movie through a conversation. 6 kind educational values can found in this movie, there are Imaniyah, Athifiyah, Khuluqiyah , Fikriyah, Jasadiyah, and Jisniyah. This research can be new way to introduce Islamic educational values in a more fun and more effective
