Abstract

Keywords: Materials Development, Sharia Economic Program, English Learning Materials, ESP of Sharia Economic Basically, English lessons at school and university must be in accordance with their respective program, so that the material that is taught can support understanding of the program itself. In this case, the Sharia Economic Program of Islamic Economic and Business Faculty of IAIN Madura that has English as one of its subjects. So, the researcher interested in conducting research related to the English learning material. Then, this study has 2 research problems, namely how is the content of Sharia Economic learning material and how is the suitability of the Sharia Economic learning material at Islamic Economic and Business Faculty of IAIN Madura with the ESP of Economic. So that the purpose of this study was to know the content and the suitability of that English learning material with ESP of Sharia Economic. In this research, the researcher used qualitative approach with library as the kind of the research. The instrument of the research used by the researcher is observation and documentation to gather the data that have been collected in the English learning material as the primary data, meanwhile in the secondary data the researcher used books and journals that related with ESP of Sharia Economic. The result of this research shows that only the topic in the second chapter in the learning material that related with Sharia Economic topic that must be taught in Sharia Economic Program, while the topic in other chapters do not show any the relation with the topic of Sharia Economic practice.
