Abstract

Basically, language is need and used by human to communicate and interact with each other. Language is convey the idea, opinion and feeling. In science and education, english is an international language which takes in important role. The students will get easy in mastering all of the skill if they can memorize and communicate each other. The primary students have to know and master to skills at the end of the study namely: Reading, listening, speaking and writing.The using Adobe Flash Player as media to help her in this situation. It is related with the theory from the expert which tells that media is component of learning resource that has instructional material in student environment that make stimulate students to research.1 There are two problems in this study. The first is how the teacher uses Adobe Flash Player in the reading activities of tenth grade students of SMA Islam Terpadu Riyadul Ulum Pakong Pamekasan. Second, what are the responses of students about the use of Adobe Flash Player in the reading activities of tenth grade students of SMA Islam Terpadu Riyadul Ulum Pakong Pamekasan. This research was conducted to illustrate the use of Adobe Flash Player in the reading activities of tenth grade students of SMA Islam Terpadu Riyadul Ulum Pakong Pamekasan and what were the students' responses about using Adobe Flash Player in reading activities The results of this study indicate that there are six steps to using Adobe Flash Player in students' reading activities. First, the teacher divides students into five groups where each group consists of five students. Second, the teacher gives a text story that is related to the topic of learning. Third, the teacher asks students to find the main ideas, make conclusions and write them in their own language. Fourth, the teacher asks students to present the results of the story in front of the class. Fifth, the teacher draws conclusions from the story. Finally, the teacher closes the lesson by providing motivation to students. Students feel more interested, active, enthusiastic, enthusiastic, motivated and easier to understand the material. Based on the results of the research above, the researcher concludes that Adobe Flash Player media is a good medium that teachers can use in teaching reading narrative text in the form of narrative because this media can make students easier to understand the material. This is addressed to other researchers who want to conduct research on the topic of using Adobe Flash Player media with different aspects. With the hope that this research can provide new knowledge for all, especially in the world of education. Pada dasarnya, bahasa adalah kebutuhan dan digunakan oleh manusia untuk berkomunikasi dan berinteraksi satu sama lain. Bahasa adalah menyampaikan ide, pendapat dan perasaan. Dalam sains dan pendidikan, bahasa Inggris adalah bahasa internasional yang mengambil peran penting. Para siswa akan mudah dalam menguasai semua keterampilan jika mereka dapat menghafal dan berkomunikasi satu sama lain. Para siswa sekolah dasar harus tahu dan menguasai keterampilan di akhir studi yaitu: Membaca, mendengarkan, berbicara dan menulis.Teknik ini dapat membuat siswa lebih mudah dalam memahami materi. Menggunakan Adobe Flash Player sebagai media untuk membantu dalam situasi ini. Hal ini terkait dengan teori dari pakar yang mengatakan bahwa media adalah komponen sumber belajar yang memiliki bahan ajar di lingkungan siswa yang membuat siswa terangsang untuk meneliti.2 Terdapat dua masalah dalam penelitian ini. Pertama adalah bagaimana guru menggunakan Adobe Flash Player pada kegiatan membaca siswa kelas 10th SMA Islam Terpadu Riyadul Ulum Pakong Pamekasan. Kedua adalah apa saja tanggapan siswa tentang penggunaan Adobe Flash Player pada kegiatan membaca siswa kelas 10th SMA Islam Terpadu Riyadul Ulum Pakong Pamekasan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menggambarkan penggunaan Adobe Flash Player pada kegiatan membaca siswa kelas 10th SMA Islam Terpadu Riyadul Ulum Pakong Pamekasan dan apa saja tanggapan siswa tentang penggunaan Adobe Flash Player pada kegiatan aktivitas membaca. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada enam langkah aktivitas dalam penggunaan Adobe Flash Player pada kegiatan membaca siswa. Pertama, guru membagi siswa dalam 5 kelompok dimana setiap kelompok terdiri dari 5 siswa. Kedua, guru memberikan teks cerita yang berhubungan dengan topic pembelajaran. Ketiga, guru meminta siswa untuk menemukan ide utama, membuat kesimpulan dan menuliskannya dengan bahasa mereka sendiri. Keempat, guru meminta siswa untuk mempresentasikan hasil dari cerita di depan kelas. Kelima, guru memberikan kesimpulan dari cerita. Terakhir, guru menutup pelajaran dengan memberikan motivasi kepada siswa. Siswa merasa lebih tertarik, aktif, semangat, antusias, termotivasi dan lebih mudah dalam memahami materi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa Adobe Flash Player media adalah sebuah media yang bagus yang dapat digunakan guru dalam mengajar membaca text cerita berbentuk narrative karena media ini dapat membuat siswa lebih mudah dalam memahami materi. Hal ini ditujukan kepada peneliti lain yang ingin melakukan penelitian dengan topik tentang penggunaan Adobe Flash Player media dengan aspek yang berbeda. Dengan harapan penelitian ini bisa memberikan pengetahuan yang baru untuk semuanya, terutama dalam dunia pendidikan.
