Abstract

Keywords: Digital Pedagogy, 4.0 Era, Framework, Innovative Media This thesis discusses the study of Digital Pedagogy in Era 4.0: A Framework for Integrating Innovative Media in Teaching of English at SMPN 2 Pamekasan. This study aims to find out the teachers' integrated digital pedagogy for students' English learning activities at SMPN 2 Pamekasan and to find out students' responses to integrated digital pedagogy as a framework in the process of students' English learning activities at SMPN 2 Pamekasan. In this study, the researcher used qualitative as the research approach and descriptive qualitative as the research design. The data sources of this research are English teachers and students at SMPN 2 Pamekasan. In collecting data, the researcher used two procedures, namely interviews and documentation. In this study, the researcher used semi-structured interviews in collecting data because it is easier for the researcher to ask questions and the questions can be asked randomly, even new questions are allowed, it also provides space for the researcher to ask questions if there is in accordance with the topic that has been set. To obtain data, researchers used triangulation of data sources and triangulation of data collection techniques. After conducting the research, the researcher found that English teachers use smartphones, tablets and laptops as teaching media in the classroom. Most of the English teachers at SMPN 2 Pamekasan use smartphones as teaching media in the classroom. The students are also more receptive to the lessons because they enjoy learning. Although the use of media in the classroom will greatly help teachers and students in delivering learning materials in the classroom, there will still be weaknesses in each teaching media used by English teachers at SMPN 2 Pamekasan in the classroom. Therefore, the selection of the right teaching media as an intermediary in delivering subject matter in the classroom is important for teachers. Based on the results of research obtained from data in the field, basically this research is going well. However, it is not an error if the researcher wants to put forward some suggestions that are hopefully useful for the progress of education in general. The next research should be able to deepen the research again. Further research can deepen what factors can influence the use of digital media related to the satisfaction that will be obtained after accessing learning media. Future researchers should further develop the scope of research, considering that the research carried out has not been able to fully describe the fulfillment of student satisfaction in mastering and using digital media
