Abstract

Codes switching occurs in a community which have many kinds of languages, or in the other words in a bilingual society. The phenomenon of bilingualism can be found in every single place where people live, the bilingual and multilingual societies people certain codes ,Those are, in the family, at the school, at the talk show program and the other. The phenomenon occurs when Sarah Sechan said in the talk show. The talk show Sarah Sechan is one of the unique and exciting televation program to watch, the program Sarah Sechan shows signals that involves communication and The language applied during the speaking in the talk show. the researcher interested to choose Sarah Sechan as object because she often Switch one language to other to make the conversation more interesting and make aundiences fells good in the show, and she has a unique of way and funny to entertain the audiences by the word that she often said “Kece” and comical guestures to make spirit to the audiences in NET TV Program. This research have two research focuses, the first problem is What kind of Code Switching found in Talk show Sarah Sechan in NET TV programs?, then the second is What are the possible reasons for the use of the code-switching found in Talk show Sarah Sechan in NET TV programs? The researcher used qualitative data analysis by transcript and analyzing utterance of Sarah Sechan which included of code switching. The researcher used two instruments, that are documentation and observation to answer the research focuses with comparing the theory and phenomenon by observing the videos then screen shoot when she make conversation to accurate the documentation. Based on the observation, and documentation, the results showed that There are three types of code switching and it was used by Sarah Sechan in the talk show “ Sarah Sechan” in NET. TV Program. Two data for tag code switching, Twinty six data for inter-sentential code switching and three data for intra-sentential code switching that used by Sarah Sechan in the talk show “ Sarah Sechan” in NET. TV Program. Whereas the reason of used Code Switching by Sarah Sechan from Indonesia to English language are particular topic, emphasize a particular point, friendship or family bonding, to inject humor, borrowing, Audiences Design, Change of attitude or relationship and exclude people from a conversation. Based on the above results, it is recommended for further researcher, if you want to do research related about code switching to this thesis, then this thesis can be used as a reference for achieving studies. This thesis can also be used for the readers. The readers can more understand about code switching and they can apply this theory in their daily life. Pengalihan kode terjadi dalam komunitas yang memiliki banyak jenis bahasa, atau dengan kata lain dalam masyarakat dua bahasa. Fenomena bilingualism dapat ditemukan di setiap tempat di mana orang tinggal, masyarakat bilingual dan multibahasa memiliki kode-kode tertentu, yaitu, dalam keluarga, di sekolah, pada program talkshow dan lainnya. Fenomena itu terjadi ketika Sarah Sechan mengatakan dalam talkshow. Talk show Sarah Sechan adalah salah satu program televasi yang unik dan menarik untuk ditonton, program Sarah Sechan menunjukkan sinyal yang melibatkan komunikasi dan Bahasa yang diterapkan selama berbicara dalam talk show. Peneliti tertarik untuk memilih Sarah Sechan sebagai objek karena dia sering beralih satu bahasa ke bahasa lain untuk membuat percakapan lebih menarik dan membuat aundiences jatuh baik di acara itu, dan dia memiliki cara yang unik dan lucu untuk menghibur penonton dengan kata bahwa dia sering mengatakan "Kece" dan bintang tamu lucu untuk memberi semangat kepada audiens dalam Program NET TV. Penelitian ini memiliki dua fokus penelitian, masalah pertama adalah Apa jenis Alih Kode yang ditemukan di Talk show Sarah Sechan dalam program NET TV ?, lalu yang kedua adalah Apa alasan yang mungkin untuk penggunaan alih kode yang ditemukan dalam Talk show Sarah Sechan dalam program TV NET? Peneliti menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dengan transkrip dan menganalisis ucapan Sarah Sechan yang mencakup alih kode. Peneliti menggunakan dua instrumen, yaitu dokumentasi dan observasi untuk menjawab fokus penelitian dengan membandingkan teori dan fenomena dengan mengamati video kemudian screen shot ketika dia melakukan percakapan untuk akurasi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan pengamatan, dan dokumentasi, hasil menunjukkan bahwa Ada tiga jenis alih kode dan itu digunakan oleh Sarah Sechan dalam talkshow "Sarah Sechan" di NET. Program tv. Dua data untuk alih kode tag, Twinty enam data untuk alih kode inter-sentensial dan tiga data untuk alih kode intra-sentensial yang digunakan oleh Sarah Sechan dalam talkshow "Sarah Sechan" di NET. Program tv. Sedangkan alasan penggunaan Code Switching oleh Sarah Sechan dari Indonesia ke bahasa Inggris adalah topik tertentu, menekankan titik tertentu, pertemanan atau ikatan keluarga, untuk menyuntikkan humor, meminjam, Desain Audiens, Perubahan sikap atau hubungan dan mengecualikan orang dari percakapan. Berdasarkan hasil di atas, disarankan untuk peneliti selanjutnya, jika ingin melakukan penelitian terkait alih kode ke skripsi ini, maka skripsi ini dapat dijadikan referensi untuk mencapai studi. Tesis ini juga dapat digunakan untuk pembaca. Para pembaca dapat lebih memahami tentang alih kode dan mereka dapat menerapkan teori ini dalam kehidupan seharihari mereka.
