Abstract

Education is an important factor in shaping one’s personal good or bad. To get an education, everyone not only gets it in educational institution, but all factors can be used as a source of education. This factor is like a social media such as facebook which is one of the media that developing knowledge or to get interaction with others. Even, shaping character educational values is an important aspect for young generation in modern era. In recent years, memes have become a trend on social media like Facebook. Just like speech act in meme that there is on Facebook, it shows the implied meaning of it. In addition, the meaning of the sentence in the meme can also be interpreted according to the context in the style of sarcasm which is one of language style of literature. So, it made the researcher interested to conduct a study of character educational values in speech act on sarcasm memes at facebook. There are three research focus in this study. The first, what are kinds of speech act used on Sarcasm Memes at Facebook Account. The second, How are the context of sarcasm on Memes at Facebook Account. The third, what are the character educational values used on Sarcasm Memes at Facebook Account. Based on research focus above, there are three research objective in this study, To describe kinds of speech act used on Sarcasm Memes at Facebook Account, To finding the context of sarcasm on Memes at Facebook Account, and to describe character educational values used on Sarcasm Memes at Facebook Account. This research, the researcher used qualitative approach. While the research method applied in this study is descriptive research. The qualitative approach here is to describe the data in the form of words. The data is taken from some memes at the facebook account. In this study, the instrument were observation and documentation that taking some memes at facebook account. The result of analyzing data shows, the researcher has found thirty of speech act related with the Locutionary, Illocutionary, and Perlocutionary. On the other, researcher also found the four kinds of the context of sarcasm, they are Propositional Sarcasm, Like-Prefixed Sarcasm, Lexical Sarcasm, and Illocutionary Sarcasm. Then, a researcher also has found thirteen kinds of character educational values. Pendidikan adalah sebuah faktor yang penting untuk membentuk pribadi baik dan buruk seseorang, seseorang tidak hanya mendapatkannya di dalam institusi pendidikan, tetapi berbagai faktor bisa digunakan sebagai sumber pendidikan. Faktor ini seperti halnya sosial media seperti facebook yang merupakan salah satu media sosial yang mengembangkan pengetahuan atau mampu berinteraksi dengan orang lain. Bahkan, membentuk nilai pendidikan karakter adalah sebuah aspek penting untuk generasi muda pada era modern. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, meme menjadi tren di media sosial seperti facebook. Seperti halnya tindak tutur yang ada pada meme di facebook, dalam hal ini meme menunjukkan makna tersirat. Selain itu, makna kalimat dalam meme juga bisa diinterpretasikan sesuai dengan konteksnya dalam gaya bahasa sarkasme, yang merupakan salah satu gaya bahasa. Jadi, hal ini lah yang membuat peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan studi mengenai nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam meme bersarkasme di facebook. Ada tiga fokus penelitian di dalam studi ini. Pertama adalah “apa saja jenis-jenis tindak tutur yang digunakan pada meme-meme bersarkasme di akun facebook”. Kedua adalah “bagaimana kontek sarkasme pada meme-meme di akun facebook”. Ketiga adalah “apa saja nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang digunakan pada meme bersarkasme di akun facebook. Berdasarkan fokus penelitian di atas, ada tiga tujuan penelitian di studi ini, untuk mendiskripsikan jenis-jenis tindak tutur yang digunakan pada memememe bersarkasme di akun facebook, untuk menemukan kontek sarkasme pada meme-meme di akun facebook, dan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang digunakan pada meme-meme bersarkasme di akun facebook. Penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Dimana metode penelitiannya menggunakan penelitian deskriptif. Pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan untuk menggambarkan data dalam bentuk kata-kata. Data diperoleh dari beberapa meme di akun facebook. Dalam penelitian ini, instrumen penelitiannya adalah mengambil beberapa meme di akun facebook. Hasil yang ditemukan dari analisis data, peneliti menemukan tiga puluh tindak tutur dalam lokusi, ilokusi, dan perlokusi. Selain itu, peneliti juga menemukan empat jenis kontek sarkasme, seperti propositional sarcasm, likeprefixed Sarcasm, lexical Sarcasm, dan illocutionary Sarcasm. Lalu, peneliti juga telah menemukan tiga belas jenis nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter.
