Abstract
Keywords: Pharmacy, Medicine, Brochure, ESP ( English for Specific Purposes), RCA. Pharmacy is one of the links in the health sector. Drug Stores, Hospitals, and pharmaceutical Industries are business fields related to pharmacy. Medicine is an ingredient that we use quite often every day, both in use in health institutions and the wider community. The brochure is a paper that gives information about the drug. ESP ( English for Specific Purposes) is a learner-centered approach to teaching English as an additional language, that an individual, organization, or specific group of learners needs for academic studies or vocational purposes. The brochure has many content explanations such as the name of the drug, doses, ingredients, how to take the medicine, and much more information emerge. This is one Example brochure of a medicine in previous research or that has been researched, and it consists of composition, effectiveness, indication, dosage, method of use, contraindications, and packaging. The composition section contains various types of nutritious substances contained in the drug (Laxarec). RCA is the place of the researcher takes the data and also the researcher's place of work. Where this research will focus on two questions how English for specific purposes are used in the pharmacy and also what pharmacy terms emerge on the brochure of medicine at RCA Farma Sampang? This research uses a qualitative research approach with content analysis as the type of research, data analysis was taken from drug brochures in the rca Farma Sampang pharmacy where researchers will look for what pharmaceutical terms emerge in the brochure, in some references this research will also answer the use of ESP in the pharmacy department in general then researchers will immediately analyze the pharmaceutical terms. Brochures of drugs with structure type composition, effectiveness, indications, dosage, how to use, contraindications, and packaging or box. This research uses source triangulation where the researcher cocollectsifferent data from RCA Farmas Sampang. Where in the discussion of the problem the researcher explains the English specific purposes of pharmacy in general content and the researcher analysis the brochure of medicine that has been taken in RCA Farma Sampang such as Cefat medicine, Dramamine Medicine, and Amoxan medicine. In the last chapter, the researcher gives a conclusion and suggestions from the research that has been done found in chapter three or in the previous explanation, where this research can be for the reader and can help students for reference of study and for source to teach
