Abstract

Keywords: Cozy Grammar Game, an innovative approach for Eight Tenses. This research consists of problems, research objectives, methods, research findings and conclusions. This research focuses on the use of game methods for learning English in tense material and the use of this game for tenses material is included in the type of method that is easy to apply but students still find difficulties in learning and understanding. This thesis is the background for the researcher to conduct this research to find out the extent of the learning abilities of eleventh grade students in learning tenses using a game method called the cozy grammar game. This research was conducted at MA Baiturrahman Pamekasan in class IX. This research is also to find out the extent of the use of this game method. in measuring students' abilities in learning tenses using the game method because basically learning tenses is not a difficult thing although it cannot be said to be easy and to make it easier for students to learn thesis the first step must first understand the meaning of tenses as it is known that tenses are the basis for forming sentences in English which pays attention to events and the time something happens which has the keywords event and time event and time it happens. This research consists of two research objectives, namely, 1. What is the process of using comfortable grammar games in teaching tense for students at MA Baiturrahman. 2. What are the factors that support the use of comfortable grammar games in student learning at MA Baiturrahman. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The instruments used are interview observations and information documentation. The English teacher and eleventh grade students checked the validity of the data using extended participation and time triangulation because it requires researchers to check data from the same source with different techniques and at different times. planned to use the same methods to understand data and information. Based on the results of this research, it can be said that the use of a game method called the cozy grammar game in class IX of the MA Baiturrahman Pamekasan school was successful and able to make students learn better and more enthusiastically, while the factors that support the use of this cozy grammar game in teaching tense are as follows. following: a). There is thorough teacher preparation in learning as explained by him, namely the media. b). There is support and attention from teachers and friends who always invite and motivate and always support students and encourage them to learn enthusiastically. c). A collaborative relationship between teachers and students who play an active role in implementing learning. Learning will run smoothly if there is a cooperative relationship between the teacher and students so that a good and comfortable learning atmosphere is created.
