Abstract

Keyword: Differentiated instruction. Teaching English , Student’s Disable Learning English for children with disable is quite different from schools in general, Differentiated instruction is needed to teach students with disable because in teaching they require different treatment from one another based on their needs. There are four types of research focuses in this study. First, what is the kind of differentiated instruction used in teaching english to student’s disable in slb negeri bugih pamekasan and the second how is the implementation of differentiated instruction in teaching english to student’s disable in slb negeri bugih pamekasan and third how is the role of teacher in differentiated instruction teaching english to student’s disable in slb negeri bugih pamekasan and fourt what are the advantages and disadvantages in differentiated instruction in teaching english to student’s disable in slb negeri bugih pamekasan in 2023. The researcher used a qualitative approach with a descriptive kind of research. Researched obtained data from, interview , observation and documentations. The research informants were the teachers teach used differentiated instruction in teaching english to students disable in slb negeri bugih pamekasan. Based on the result of the study, the kind of differentiated in teaching English to student disable are based on the content, proscess and product , and for the The implementation in differentiated instruction in teaching English to student’s disable, begins with making a diagnosis by the school and then grouping them based on similarity of needs. For learning English differentiated instruction is used to provide materials and treatment of students based on their needs.and for the role of the teacher are 1. The teacher prepares the material that will be given to disabled students 2. The teacher begins by praying and greeting the students 3. The teacher informs the rules in the teaching and learning process 4. The teacher practices and the students follow it 5. The teacher accompanies students in the learning process individually according to their needs 6. The teacher provides motivation7. The teacher invites students to pray, and for the advantages in teaching English to students disable are 1. students centered, 2. tekhnology literate, 3. striving equality and 4. increase engagement. And its also has disavantages like 1. Time consuming, 2. Cannot be done for everyone ,3. Unrealistic In the content of standardized test and 4. Learning style are unporven.
