Abstract

ABSTRACT Nurul Maghfiroh, 2020, The English Teacher Technique in Motivating Students at MA Nurut Tauhid in Robatal Sampang, thesis, under graduate program of English Teaching Program (TBI). Advisor : Abd. Ghofur, M.Pd Key word: Technique, Motivation. In teaching learning process the teacher must use techniques so that students are active in the class, because students' abilities are not the same, the teacher must use techniques in accordance with the conditions of the students in the class to increase student motivation in teaching learning process. Technique is any wide of variety of exercise, activities, or task in the language classroom for realizing lesson objectives. Techniques must be consistent with the method. Beside that techniques carry out a method, and technique is implementational. There are two research problems in this study: the first is, what are the English teacher technique in motivating students at MA Nurut Tauhid in Robatal Sampang, and the second is how does the English teacher technique in motivating students at MA Nurut Tauhid in Robatal Sampang. This research use qualitative research, the researcher collected the data from observation, interview and documentation. From the data collected, the researcher can know what are the English teacher technique in motivating students at MA Nurut Tauhid in Robatal Sampang and how does the English teacher technique in motivating students at MA Nurut Tauhid in Robatal Sampang. The result of this research, the English teacher technique in motivating students at MA Nurut Tauhid in Robatal Sampang, In the English teaching learning process the teacher use many techniques in motivating students at MA Nurut tauhid in Robatal Sampang such as used a presentation discussion technique, the teacher also use group work techniques, inquiry presentation techniques. And the students are motivated by the teacher when the teacher gives score beside that the teacher also gives more value when the students active in the class, gives motivational words such as good, excellent, good job, nice. And gives assignments in order to the students more understand.
