Abstract

Key word :Using U dictionary As Media in Teaching Vocabulary at Junior High School Al-Miftah Karang Penang Sampang. English in foreign language that we can use to communicate each other in international area, and teaching is a process for transfer information or knowledge from the teacher to the students or activities that done by the teacher in the course. Most of the students want to and understand what the other people said by using English language. The problem that the researcher wants to research are (a) how does the teacher use U dictionary As Media in Teaching Vocabulary to Junior High School Al-Miftah 03 Karang Penang Sampang, (b) what is the advantages and Disadvantages of using U Dictionary As Media in Teaching Vocabulary to Junior High School Al-Miftah Karang Penang Sampang, The objective of the research are (a) to describe the using of U Dictionary as Media in Teaching Vocabulary to Junior High School Al-Miftah 03 Karang Penang Sampang, (b) to explain what is the advantages and Disadvantages using U Dictionary as Media in Teaching Vocabulary to Junior High School Al-Miftah 03 Karang Penang Sampang. This research in designed by using qualitative approach, and design of this study is descriptive. The source of data can be obtained from observation, interview and documentation, and the informants are from the teacher and the students at eight. For getting the validity of data, the researcher uses source triangulation. The result of the research show that the use of U dictionary in teaching vocabulary at junior high school Al-Miftah 03 Karang Penang Sampang. Is the suitable media that choose by the teacher in English teaching that showed by the students activities in the class, they feel enjoy the material and more active in the class, and also when they respond the teacher s question that they more spirit to answer it, furthermore they interest in English language by using U dictionary in teaching vocabulary.
