Abstract

Key word : Model English Learning, Song Self-Created, Learning Outcome Song could be good sources for English class. Song could attract students attention, creating fun learning and also universal almost everey one liked song, beside that song could be used according to what student and teacher need. As student of BBEC they were only focus in developing two skills (grammar and memorizing vocabulary), the researcher created song about grammar and vocabulary that was written specifically for the research at BBEC which student there lost interest in learning, finally it caused their student lerning outcome is less than optimal. This study aimed to find out whether student of BBEC will have better Learning Outcome after the implementation of model English learning based on song self-created at Bata-Bata Boarding School Palengaan Pamekasan, and how significance the effect of song self-created toward student learning outcome at BBEC Bata-Bata Boarding school Palengaan Pamekasan. This research used a quantitative approach, that was Pre-Experiemental research One group Pre-test Post-test. This research was conducted only one group without control group. One group was selected, giving pre-test then provide treatment and then giving post-test to the student of BBEC. The population of this research was all of student BBEC in 24th period that consist of 10 group, namely : Chicago, Maldieves, Canada, New York, Berlin, USA, Mexico, German, Tokyo, L.A. As for sample of this research was Maldieves group that was taken by using Cluster random sampling technique. The instrument used in collecting data in this study was a test. Determining t test was used to analyze the data in which the significance was determined by 0,05%. The result of this study showed that student of BBEC have batter learning outcome after the implementation of model English Learning based on Song Self-created. It can be seen from the results of mean pre test was 79,000 and mean post test was 83,333. From pre-test to post-test, there was an increase of learning outcomes by 4, 333. While t test results obtained t value of 2,692 which was higher than t table is 2,145 with a significance level of 5% (0,05). So from the results of the “t” test (t value : 2,692 > t table 2,145. It can be concluded that Song Self-Created effected to Student learning outcome at BBEC Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Palengaan Pamekasan with 269,2%.
