Abstract

Key Words: Speaking, Song, Tiktok, Songs Tiktok Learning to teach distance is something new and for the first time done by students, students tend to quickly feel bored or unfocused while learning is taking place. But advances in technology can help us solve problems like today. The application is a Tiktok application gives users access to create their own short music video. On average, the song used is an English song, so the song will go viral if it has been played frequently. The song adds a whole dimension class and makes it easier for children to remember words ad patterns as well natural pieces of language. Song is an ideal strategy to learn speaking, because in the song there are repetitions of vocabulary and language structure and rhyrhms that can increase their interest in learning speaking. There are three research focuses in this study. The First, how are the used songs in Tiktok application in teaching speaking of eleventh graders in software engineering1 at SMKN 3 Pamekasan, the second, what are advantages Tiktok application in teaching speaking of eleventh graders in software engineering1 at SMKN 3 Pamekasan, the third, what are the obstacles Tiktok application in teaching speaking of eleventh graders in software engineering1 at SMKN 3 Pamekasan. This study uses qualitative approach, while the type of research the researcher uses is descriptive qualitative. In collecting data, researcher used four techniques, namely: observation, interview, documentation, and data analysis techniques. The researcher informants are eleventh grade students in software engineering1 at SMKN 3 Pamekasan. Based on the results of research, the first, use of songs Tiktok application in teaching speaking of eleventh grade students in software engineering (RPL1) at SMKN 3 Pamekasan, the students follow three steps in teaching speaking. The second, students also get some advantanges in using Tiktok that it helps they to do enjoyful and effortless study that finalyy increasing their vocabulary mastery. The third, They also found sames obstacles such as hard to memorize, getting passive and bored. Based on the result above, it is recommended for teacher to be very careful in using Tiktok as media of learning. To students to focus more on learning rather than having fun with Tiktok. For reseacher, this study can be a reference for further study
