Abstract

Keyword: Involvement of Parents, Achievement The importance of parental involvement in ensuring the success of students' English learning achievement, because the first child born is in a family environment, the family must take part in educating children to become good children both from their Intellectual Quotien or from a moral point of view, without the involvement of parents. impossible child achievement will be good. Therefore, against the background of the above conditions, the researcher is encouraged to research about “The Involvement of Parent in Ensuring Successful English Learning Achievements of Students at MTs Darussalam Karduluk Pragaan Sumenep”. There are three research focus in this study. The first one is, is there any involvement of parents in learning English. The second one is, how is the involvement of parents in ensuring the success of English learning achievement of seventh grade students at MTs Darussalam Karduluk Pragaan Sumenep, and how is the achievement of learning English a seventh grader at MTs Darussalam Karduluk Pragaan Sumenep. This type of research is qualitative research, namely research that describes, tells and interprets existing data and produces descriptive data in the form of written/oral words from people and observable behavior and the data is a statement. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative. Determining the validity of the data, in this study using data triangulation techniques, namely data validity checking techniques that utilize various sources outside the data as comparison material. The results of the research that the researcher found were that the role of parents in determining students' English learning achievement at school was good enough. Parents who do not pay attention to their children's education, for example do not pay attention at all to the interests and needs of their children in learning, do not want to know how their children's learning progress, the difficulties experienced by their children in learning and others can cause children to be less or even unsuccessful in their studies. Based on the result above, it is suggested for parents to always pay attention to their children, especially attention to their learning activities at home, to make children more active and more enthusiastic in learning because they know that it is not only themselves who want to progress, but their parents also have the same desire. So that learning outcomes or learning achievements achieved by students become better
