Abstract

Keyword: whisper game, vocabulary Vocabulary is one of the most important aspects of learning English. Because the vocabulary will be very helpful when someone is learning a foreign language. In the process of learning vocabulary, in order to make members more interested, some methods or techniques used by tutors are needed. Methods or techniques are important for tutors because they make it easier for tutors to teach in class and make members more happy when they participate in activities. In this case, the researcher found that the tutor used whispering game in teaching vocabulary. There are two problems in this study. The first, how does the tutor use whispering game in teaching vocabulary at ECD Al-Falah Kadur Pamekasan. The second, what are the advantages and disadvantages of whisper game in teaching vocabulary at ECD Al-Falah Kadur Pamekasan. In this study researchers used a qualitative approach, while this type of research uses descriptive research because this study describes information about whispering games in teaching vocabulary. In the research findings, researchers found that there are three steps in the use of whispering games in teaching vocabulary at ECD members al falah kadur pamekasan these steps are introduction, core activities and conclusion. In this game there are several advantages and disadvantages. One of the advantages of this game is that it can add new vocabulary and also make it easier for members to understand the material presented. And the disadvantage is the lack of conducive interaction between tutors and members in the teaching and learning process using whispering games. Based on the research above, certainly there must be advantages and disadvantages in the teaching and learning process, so the teacher has an important role in the learning process, including having a high enthusiasm in creating strategies that students like in participating in learning.
