Abstract
Key words: Smart Tv, Digital Tools in Teaching Reading Enlglish teacher at MTsN 1 Pamekasan used a Smart TV in teaching reading innovative learning is strategy that emphazize delevering learning material to students . use of Smart TV technology has made it easier for students to absorb knowledge through the Smart TV learning model. The teacher's role in education has shifted to that of a facilitator, who provides interesting learning tools based on students' preferences. An English teacher at MTsN 1 Pamekasan used Smart TV in teaching reading. However, there are still issues in the learning process, including difficulty focusing, boredom, and difficulty understanding the material. This research aims to explore the use of Smart TV as a digital tool in teaching reading at MTSN 1 Pamekasan. The objectives of the research are to describe how teachers use Smart TVs in teaching reading, the benefits of using Smart TVs in teaching reading, and the weaknesses of using Smart TVs in teaching reading..this research, the researcher used descriptive research with a qualitative approach The benefits of using Smart TVs as digital tools in teaching reading include increased student enthusiasm and active participation. Students have responded positively to the use of Smart TVs, especially in reading. However, there are also weaknesses associated with this technology, such as slow internet connection and difficulty connecting devices. Stable internet is required to fully utilize the features of a Smart TV, and a poor connection can affect the display quality. The use of Smart TV as a digital tool in teaching reading has had a significant impact on the learning process at MTsN 1 Pamekasan. Students have shown increased enthusiasm and active engagement, while teachers have found it easier to deliver learning materials. Despite some weaknesses, such as internet connectivity issues, the benefits of using Smart TVs outweigh the drawbacks.with this research, researchers hope that there will be a way to increase the professionalism of English teachers in teaching skills.Reading can be used as a reference for future researchers, and can be useful as additional literacy in the IAIN Madura library
