Abstract

Keywords: Extracurricular Activities, Teaching and English Learning Extracurricular activities are non formal activities carried out outside the standard school curriculum as an effort to accommodate students to develop character in order to expand their knowledge about lerning, especially English learning. Extracurricular English activities can be one of the most important activities carried out as a place or forum for sudents who have interest and talent in learning English. Learning to teach English is a learning process where the teacher and students interact reciprocally with each other, which only discusses English languge learning. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of extracurricular activities CEA in english teaching and Learning process at MTs Ainul Falah Bakeong and to Explain the advantages and disadvantages the implementation of English extracurricular activities CEA in English teaching and learning process at MTs Ainul Falah Bakeong. This research use a qualitative approach and descriptive research. The main source used are the implementation of extracurricular activities CEA in the English learning English language teaching and learning process and the results of interview conducted by teacher and all members to find out their responses after implementation extracurricular activities CEA in the English language teaching and learning process. Meanwhile, secondary sources include teacher and student related to research. In collecting data, researcher using observation, interview, and documentation. To analyze the data, researcher used data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion/verification. And checking the validity of the data was carried out using a member checking and source triangulation. The result of the research show that the application of extracurricular activities CEA in the English teaching and learning process at MTs Ainul Falah Bakeong. First, the implementation of English extracurricular activities begins with saying hello and praying together, then the teacher attendant list the students, the teacher stimulates the students by doing ask questions and answers first to student using English, then the teacher start learning with interesting learning strategies in implementation extracurricular activities so that students are able to understand one by one what they need to master in English. Meanwhile, the advantages of this English extracurricular activity is that students can develop students interest and talents in learning English, and disadvantages of this activity is the lack of references or books as teaching materials for students in learning English so that teacher realize it with other reference
