Abstract

Kata Kunci: Strategi, Komunikasi, LPP The 2019 legislative general election was attended by many political parties which had implications for the tight competition between political parties in the struggle for voters' votes. All strategies, tactics, and methods are carried out by all political parties to win the election. The decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) regarding the majority of votes has contributed to changes in the communication strategy of political parties in the campaign ahead of the election. This study aims to determine the communication strategy of LPP PKB in the 2019 legislative elections, especially the party's attitude towards Law no. 10 of 2008 concerning the election of members of the DPR, DPRD, and DPD. This research was conducted in DPC PKB Sumenep Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The analysis is an interactive model. The results of this study indicate that the LPP PKB election winning strategy is formulated in two stages, namely, door to door and establishing friendship with Nahdliyin scholars. In carrying out these two stages, LPP PKB uses the Public Relations function to be carried out by LPP. Because in winning the 2019 legislative elections, the role and function of Public Relations in a political party, namely PKB, was carried out by the LPP. The role of the LPP PKB communication strategy that was implemented in the 2019 legislative elections greatly affected the party's vote acquisition. This is because LPP PKB Back uses a strategy of establishing friendships with Nahdliyin clerics which in recent years has not been carried out by the party. PKB received more votes than the previous legislative elections, even PKB became a major party in Sumenep Regency and led the Sumenep Regency DPRD
