Abstract

Keywords:. Introvert and extrovert personality, speaking skill. Personality always exists in humans because every human being has character. There are generally two personalities, introvert and extrovert. In everyday life we often communicate. Speaking skill is not uncommon in everyday life. Speaking is very important in the assessment. The problem of research to analyze, is there correlation between introvert and extrovert personalities on students speaking skills, most of which are still below the KKM score. The goal is to find out if the introvert and extrovert personalities have anything to do with the student’s speaking skills that are largely under KKM. The research design of this research is quantitative research and the researcher use quantitative approach where the data analyzed using by statistical procedures. This researcher use correlation design to expect correlation between introvert extrovert and speaking skill. From the results of the hypothesis test carried out, it can be seen that there is a significant difference in speaking ability between introverted and extrovert personalities in Eleventh grade of Islamic High School Sumber Bungur Pakong Pamekasan. Likewise, extrovert personality has a better relationship with speaking ability in Eleventh grade of Islamic High School Sumber Bungur Pakong Pamekasan students.There is a significant difference in speaking ability between introvert and extrovert personalities in eleventh grade of Islamic high school Sumber Bungur Pakong Pamekasan.
