Abstract

Keywords: English Song, Pronounciation Teaching English songs in class is a teacher activity where the teacher gives lessons in English songs in the classroom, while prononciation is the core of the language that provides many basic skills, such as learning about pronunciation, speaking and learning the intonation of pronunciation, listening to songs is a special activity taught by teacher in the classroom. There are two research objectives in this study. The first is to find out whether there is an effect of the song on the pronunciation of Bata-Bata Palengaan Pamekasan students, the second is whether more students will have better pronunciation in listening to English songs at Bata-Bata Palengaan Pamekasan. In this study, researchers used a quantitative approach. To collect data, researchers used the pre-test and post-test methods. From the data collected by researchers. Researchers can know the results of the pre-test and post-test in Bata-Bata Palengaan Pamekasan, which contains 38 respondents in the class, of which 38 respondents are all taken by the researcher. The results of this study, which were analyzed by statistics using spss, showed that there was an effect of English songs on student pronunciation in Bata-Bata Palengaan Pamekasan as evidenced by comparing the values of T and T table 0.320> 0,423 because the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected.
