Abstract

Keywords: Tiktok App, Storytelling, Speaking Every educator must have their own way of teaching according to their version. This is the same as the Hidatayun Najah high school teacher who currently also has a teaching style, namely by using the tiktok application. This application is used to make it easier for teachers to do the learning that will be carried out. Because basically every success in an education is how an educator chooses and determines learning media. By using the tiktok application, it becomes easy for students to remember words. And using the tiktok application is a good strategy for learning to speak, because in the content in the tiktok application there is repetition of vocabulary and language structures that can increase students' interest in learning to speak. There are two research focuses in this study. First, how do teachers use the tiktok application in teaching speaking. Second, how do students respond to the use of the tiktok application in learning to speak in class XII SMA Hidayatun Najah Pamakesan. This study aims to find out how the tiktok application is used when teaching speaking and how students respond when using the tiktok application when learning to speak in class XII SMA Hidayatun najah Pamekasan. Researchers used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Researchers obtained from documentation, observation, and interviews. The informants of this research were teachers and students of class XII at Hidayatun Najah High School. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of the tiktok application in teaching speaking class XII at SMA Hidayatun Najah Pamekasan, students follow three steps in learning to speak. Students get several advantages in using tiktok which helps them to make learning fun and easy which ultimately improves vocabulary mastery.
