Abstract
Keywords : Writing Diary Habit, Students’ Writing Skill Writng skill is very crusial skill which the students should have it. Having good writing skill is needed by students, because in every they are studying abviously they need it. Such as the way they reveal their thought by writing, the way they will answer some question on the question sheet of examanation moreover they can develop it skill by write an article, stories, poem and many other opuses This research has two research objectives, it is to know whether or not the more student write diary the better their writing skill on paragraph at Aphrodite English Club (AEC) Annuqayah Islamic Boarding School and the strong of significance both variables. The researcher uses alternative hypothesis on this research. Alternative means there is correlation between both variable. Therefore, the better students write diary the better their writing skill on paragraph at Aphrodite Ebglish Club (AEC) Annuqayah Islamic Boarding School The research method that used in this research is quantitative approach whereas research design on this research is correlation design. This research has two variables: students writing diary habit (variable X) and students writing skill (variables Y). The population of this research is all of memebers of Aphrodite English Club (AEC) Annuqayah Islamic Boarding School. Because the respondent is less than 100 respondent the researcher take all the members as sample of this research. There are two intrument of this research, questionnaire for getting numerical data of variable X and writing test for getting numerical data for variable Y The result of this research that analyze from statistical analysis showed that there is correlation of students writing diary habit and students’ writing skill on paragraph at Aphrodite English Club (AEC) It evidenced by comparing the rxy and rtable. While the rxy= 1.549 and rtable = 0.404. Based on the result, the significant level of students writing diary habit to students’ writing skill on paragraph is enough. In order, the null hypotheses is rejected and the alternative hypotheses is accepted. Based on the result above, the researchers’ suggestion for super visors of Aphrodite English Club is keep going on giving a member habit of writing. Because it is distncly increase their writing skill and may be it also give new knoeledge to english learner or english teacher to make a diary as media of writing.
